This book takes the reader into the world of women cast by the sea into the heart of the Arabian Peninsula, moving between ancient cities and modern neighborhoods that reflect life in the Najdi desert environment. Written in a smooth narrative style enriched with proverbs, legends, desert stories, and traditional foods, the story returns to Najd before the formation of Riyadh. It follows a wealthy Saudi family transitioning from a nomadic life to palace living, with the presence of these women shaping the course of events. هذا الكتاب يأخذنا إلى عالم النساء البحريات اللواتي تقذفهن أمواج البحر إلى قلب الجزيرة العربية، بين المدن القديمة والأحياء الحديثة التي تعكس  شكل الحياة في بيئة نجد الصحراوية، وتتجذر هؤلاء النساء في نسيج الحياة اليومية. بلغة سردية سلسة، تتخللها أمثال شعبية، وأساطير نجد، وحكايات الصحراء، وأطعمة نجدية وشامية، تعود الرواية إلى نجد قبل تشكّل مدينة الرياض، حيث تدور الأحداث داخل عائلة سعودية ثرية انتقلت من حياة البادية إلى القصور، لتتشعب الحكايات مع حضور " البحريات"؛ النساء القادمات من مدن البحر الخضراء إلى قلب الصحراء الذهبية.
